Wow, there are a LOT of special days in February.
We started off the month with National Dark Chocolate Day on the 1st. Did you know that chocolate was first served as a food in 350 BC?
And we had Groundhog Day on the 2nd. Sorry, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so six more weeks of winter.
This Sunday is Valentine’s Day, of course. But it is also International Book-Giving Day. Yay!!
And both the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras fall in February.
And my favorite of the special days this month…
The 17th is International Random Acts of Kindness Day!! Go forth and be randomly kind.
The following Saturday, the 20th, is Love Your Pet Day. As if we need a special day to remind us to do that!
(For more special days and some delightful information about them, check out this site.)
What’s your favorite of the Special Days in February?
Last Days of our Winter Wonderland Contest!
Ends this Saturday, the 13th. ~ Winner will be picked randomly.
