Spice Up the New Year with a Fab Giveaway!

by Kassandra Lamb

Some people like to change things up occasionally, to add a little spice to their lives. Others like things to stay pretty much the same. They feel more secure if they know what to expect.

One of the things I love about the mystery genre is that we can have it both ways, because there are so many sub-genres—cozy, historical, noir, detective, paranormal, psychological suspense, even steampunk!

To celebrate the New Year, we have a fabulous giveaway for you: 7 FREE MYSTERIES for 7 DAYS!

Thank you very much. All new books, (to me) with enjoyable plotlines and characters.
Hapoy New Year from a grateful reader!

  2. Nancy Dillow

What a wonderful collection of books you presented today! I wanted to follow you on Facebook, but it brought up my husband’s page and not mine. He would not appreciate it, as our reading tastes are so different. Just know that I enjoyed your choices.

  3. Carolann Duncan

I love those mysteries. They are well written and don’t use vulgar language every other word…. That drives me nuts!

    1. Julie Prewett

      Hi Vinnie,
I believe “vulgar language every other word” is different than “contain bits of bad language” is totally different. :-). I do not mind your kind and would love to read something you wrote anytime!

      1. Kassandra Lamb Post author

I agree, Julie! A huge difference. I have two series, one cozy in which I avoid bad language completely (that’s what that audience expects), but in my other series, I do have “bits” here and there, in the interest of being realistic. People just don’t think “Dang” when facing down a killer. 😀

  4. Beverlee Smith

Great assortment of books! I already had some of them, but did manage to grab a couple new ones! Winner winner!!!

Glad we could introduce you to a couple of new authors, Beverlee. Thanks so much for stopping by!

  5. Denise Larouche

Thank you so much for the free ebooks.
I have added 3 to my collection. My Kindle app must be getting full.
I wish you all a Happy New Year, and looking forward
    to reading your books.
    I read 3-4 a week.

  6. Alan Udne

I have been amazed by type of really good new authors that I have been introduced to through this type of site. The authors must be very pleased with the response to their efforts. Of course I don’t think any of them (or their readers) would object to a donation towards the writer;s costs and also as a form of encouragement to continue developing their work?

We have had a really great response to this giveaway, Alan! I’m pretty impressed with instaFreebie and its ability to get readers and authors hooked up with each other. 🙂

  7. Mona

I am a little late wishing you a Happy New Year, but I do mean it. And I want to thank you very much for sharing the books with us. They are wonderful and I appreciate it.

  8. Anita

I was so pleased to see Shannon Esposito’s first book in her Pet Detective series. I had read the entire series on KU a year ago and enjoyed them so much but couldn’t afford to purchase them. So, I immediately pounced on book 1 offered here. Fellow readers, if you love books with a pet theme, some slightly wacky characters, a sweet, developing romance and a good murder mystery thrown in, you will enjoy this series.

Thank you also to all the new authors I am going to becoming acquainted with over this winter while waiting for spring to return.

Just finished “To Kill a Labrador”. Totally enjoyed it, especially the attention to our Vets and their companion dogs’ training.
This was my first of your books.
