Some people like to change things up occasionally, to add a little spice to their lives. Others like things to stay pretty much the same. They feel more secure if they know what to expect.
One of the things I love about the mystery genre is that we can have it both ways, because there are so many sub-genres—cozy, historical, noir, detective, paranormal, psychological suspense, even steampunk!
To celebrate the New Year, we have a fabulous giveaway for you: 7 FREE MYSTERIES for 7 DAYS!
There’s something for every mystery lover, so pick your favorite sub-genres or grab up one of each.*
Here’s the list and the links to claim these free ebooks. But hurry! They’re only available through January 10th!

January 3, 2017 at 1:15 pmWell, my books do contain bits of bad language, but as Kassandra said, there’s “something for every mystery lover” here. 🙂

January 3, 2017 at 2:11 pmHi Vinnie,
I believe “vulgar language every other word” is different than “contain bits of bad language” is totally different. :-). I do not mind your kind and would love to read something you wrote anytime!
Kassandra Lamb
January 3, 2017 at 2:32 pmI agree, Julie! A huge difference. I have two series, one cozy in which I avoid bad language completely (that’s what that audience expects), but in my other series, I do have “bits” here and there, in the interest of being realistic. People just don’t think “Dang” when facing down a killer. 😀

January 4, 2017 at 11:24 pmI have been amazed by type of really good new authors that I have been introduced to through this type of site. The authors must be very pleased with the response to their efforts. Of course I don’t think any of them (or their readers) would object to a donation towards the writer;s costs and also as a form of encouragement to continue developing their work?

January 8, 2017 at 5:51 amI was so pleased to see Shannon Esposito’s first book in her Pet Detective series. I had read the entire series on KU a year ago and enjoyed them so much but couldn’t afford to purchase them. So, I immediately pounced on book 1 offered here. Fellow readers, if you love books with a pet theme, some slightly wacky characters, a sweet, developing romance and a good murder mystery thrown in, you will enjoy this series.
Thank you also to all the new authors I am going to becoming acquainted with over this winter while waiting for spring to return.

January 8, 2017 at 7:34 pmThanks for letting me know you enjoyed the Pet Psychic series, Anita. You made my day! Hope you enjoy the works of our other fabulous authors as well. 🙂
